Holding momentum is very important in athletics and politics! I’ve seen complacency destroy momentum too many times in both, even in rural Georgia! Old saying: “Keep your foot on the pedal!”

Let’s get to work.” Says it all!! Thank you for the reminder. Working it! 💙

Since you bring up physics and seem to like numbers may I say that IMO it is not about Newton’s Laws but about a property called emergence that arises from a state of complexity with many variables, typically not orthogonal or linear.

Some truly frustrating aspects of the media coverage lately has been this insistence that the American people are incapable of determining the quality of her candidacy unless and until she sits for an interview.

Local news interviews while campaigning would be more meaningful. And besides, it ignores that the media doesn’t already try to set the parameters of what policy can be taken seriously or not.

Anyway, that’s just my unsolicited two cents. Great work as always. You’re a difference maker!

You’re 100% right - engaging local media is an excellent strategy that continues bringing the information to the people. Especially in a polarized news environment where big swaths of the electorate don’t watch “the other side’s” news, going to local outlets at least increases the chances that you’ll break through that information barrier. The campaign has already shown a willingness to go about things very differently by empowering creators. Hopefully they’ll continue innovating (though here I think innovating really means going back to basics!)

And thank you so much for your kind words! 💙

Let's face it. The NY Times well past its glory days and has been taken over by an overgrown adolescent who's in a snit and taking it out on everybody else by saying...yup..."Joy is Not a Strategy." If it ain't, does the prospect of a sniveling threat of totalitarian fascism grease their wheels and do they look forward to politically walking on eggs for the duration of that calamity? Is it that hard to pay attention to the big issues instead of the little ones? Do they think that the Dems and Kamala won't fill their coffers? No. They're owned and the issue is money. When The Gray Lady fails, the owner will wonder why,

The Grey Lady has has a good run, Operation Mockingbird being the exception! However, the path they have chosen with fealty to TFG is a CV loosing proposition. Excellent piece Michele, and good night Grey Lady!
