About Small Deeds Done

Small deeds done are better than great deeds planned. – Peter Marshall

Every week since November, 2016 I’ve published Small Deeds Done – an essay (sometimes personal, sometimes … not) coupled with four action items (“small deeds”). Typically there’s one thing to read, a few events to attend, and an “action” to take – like a call to a legislator, or a postcarding opportunity.

But – and this is important – my intent isn’t to add things to your to-do list. My goal is to inspire you, to motivate you, maybe get you to think about something a little differently – and, most importantly, to remind you that what you’re doing matters.

Friend, your voice matters – far more than you might realize.

That’s me! Michele, Founder of Small Deeds Done

I’m nothing if not persistent. Like I said, Small Deeds has been published every week since November 2016 – and although I’ve just recently brought “the shop” over to Substack, I’m tickled at the community and engagement that we’re already creating together here.

So I sure do hope you’ll join the Small Deeds team, and subscribe by clicking the button below. The newsletter will always be free. But if you’re able, paid subscriptions matter and are appreciated more than you know!

Small Deeds Done is a reader-supported publication. To receive new posts and support my work, consider becoming a free or paid subscriber.
